First Biomass project starts!

June 2014 saw the first Central Power Biomass renewable project start in the Bridgnorth area. The site is a Domestic project involving a 36kw boiler complete with integrated wood pellet store, and takes full advantage of the RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) Domestic Scheme.

The project is a complete improvement of an existing house, and makes use of a 36 kw Grant Biomass boiler.

The home crowd were expecting another win for their unbeaten team. But I, and all the Bridgnorth fans watched with baited breath as Leighton went ahead after a few minutes. The Bridgnorth team, sponsored by Central Power, soon put our fears to rest and went on for a memorable away win

I overheard the powers that be discussing the man of the match award and if it was left to me I would have awarded it to everyone of our squad and our supporters. They were all magnificent. Well done everybody.
After the game I jokingly told all that on Monday I am booking the coaches for Twickenham. I hope my dream comes true. It can be done with the attitude of everybody there today. for more rugby sporting news.

Power to the People - Government boost for Community Energy.

Local communities will be able to take control of their energy bills and help transform the energy system thanks to proposals unveiled today in Britain’s first" Community Energy Strategy.

Over 50 per cent of people surveyed by DECC said that saving money on bills would be the major motivation for getting involved with community energy schemes, and around 3.5million bill payers are ready to get together with other people in their local community to take more control of their energy. Meanwhile while four in ten respondents said they were already interested in joining a community energy group, and taking part in collective switching or collective purchasing schemes.
