UK Jumps To Fourth In Ernst & Young Renewable Energy Rankings

A new report has placed Britain fourth in terms of renewable energy ranking, displacing Australia for the position. The US, China and Germany have each retained their positions making up the top three in Ernst & Youngs Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Indices (RECAI).

The UK jumps to fourth place thanks to revised electricity consumption growth projections, new build asset finance deals, and greater power offtake certainty following the release of contract for difference (CfD) strike prices. (Source: Ernst & Young)
